I’ve always been a person who just went to work, paid my bills, went to sleep and repeated the day prior.  Last December it just hit me how I’ve been running in place by paying for my homes, credit cards and cars minimum monthly payments.  It’s what my parents did, my neighbors did, my friends and everyone on television does as well.  It’s just what we do and the powerful credit card companies, lending agencies and television have us all programmed to think that this is normal.

One day, while watching television, I saw a commercial for John Cummuta and his program to “Transforming Debt into Wealth” for $139 or a used DVD from Amazon for as low as $14.  My curiosity peaked and I made the decision to get my copy of the program and start listening to it.  The excitement of what I was hearing soon got my wife curious and it wasn’t long before we began listening to the set every chance we could.  You see, what was happening here was that anger and frustration of being held down by these lending agencies was making us madder.  John Cummuta was showing us how we could leverage the money we already had to be completely debt free within five years.  This is no small feet as we have three homes, three cars and a bunch of debt.  I don’t usually pay any attention to television advertisments but I’m glad I saw John Cummuta’s advertisement as it has changed our lives.

Today, to get us out of debt, we have shaved most every conceivable extra bill or unnecessary feature that we just don’t need.  We cut our Comcast cable bill down from $115 per month to $77.  We’ve eliminated a cell phone that was rarely used but was costing us $65 per month after taxes were added in.  Our AT&T hard-wired home phone ($28 per month) was shut off and now we use MagicJack to make all calls within the U.S. for $1.65 per month using the same phone handset.  We’ve reduced our monthly gas and electric by simply adjusting our thermostat more tightly and less liberally.  We saved hundreds of dollars each month by eating out only once a week where at one time, it was more like three, four or five times a week.  All of these shavings have saved us approximately $400 per month in unnecessary expenditures which we are now leveraging to get us out of debt.

No longer will we be a slave to our debt.  We actually have hope for the future and are dreaming of the day when we can actually afford a decent vacation.  We know that it won’t be easy and financial slip ups mean putting our future on hold.  But, if we keep at it, one day we’ll break free of this heavy burden called debt.  Thanks John Cummuta for a fantastic product and your Christian message!
